Before becoming a defense attorney, Daniel Cabral was a prosecuting attorney for 35 years. Dan started his career trying misdemeanor cases and then felony cases. During his career, he prosecuted DUI, Vehicular Manslaughters, Sexual Assault, Domestic Violence, Major Narcotics, Theft, Robbery, Carjacking, Gang, Homicide and Capital cases at both the Adult Level and Juvenile level. Dan has negotiated the disposition of hundreds if not thousands of cases and has over 150 court trials and jury trials and brings that experience into the courtroom and will fight for you at every stage of the process. Dan is respected by all justice partners including police officers, probation officers, judges, defense attorneys, and prosecutors. Dan served as the co-chair of the juvenile justice committee for the California District Attorney’s Association for 13 years, where he served as a consultant and instructor for juvenile prosecutors around the state and taught police officers at the police academy for over 30 years.
